Sustainable Fabric

Textiles has been an impact to the environment in a number of different ways, so at NG, we think about the impact as a whole and try to choose fabrics that have the least negative effect on the earth. To minimise our footprint, we always prioritise natural fibre fabrics so we only work with fabrics that are comfortable, beautiful and most importantly, sustainable.

Linen is made from natural fibers (flax) and does not require pesticides or chemicals like conventional cotton does. Known as a strong, durable, and absorbent fabric, linen is always used for summer clothing as it is comfortable, super breathable and it dries much faster than cotton. It also gets better with time, and is biodegradable.

Organic cotton is made from natural fibers and grown using methods and materials that have a low impact on the environment unlike conventional (normal) cotton. Ours are GOTS certified, so it has passed strict ecological and social criteria that is backed up by independent certification of the entire textile supply chain. Known to be very soft, comfortable and breathable. It doesn't use any pesticides or chemicals, and is biodegradable.

More natural fabric is coming soon to our store.
